11 Geography

Geography is a unique subject that looks at current global and local issues now as well as problem solving. This course is a mix of human and natural based topics including chocolate production, extreme natural disasters, sustainable islands and much more. Future problem solvers this course is for you!

Course Overview

Term 1
AS 91932, 1.1, Demonstrate understanding of the spatial distribution of phenomena and it's impacts on place, 5 credits, internal.
We will be working towards our first assessment topic on a global pattern of earthquakes. We will be looking at differing patterns and thinking about the reasons of patterns globally before heading into our assessment starting later in Term One and will have two weeks to complete this.
