11 Maths
Look at all aspects of maths needed for life including Number, Linear Algebra, Geometry, Measurement and Statistics and Probability. The course provides a pathway to 12MAT.

- Solve problems involving number, linear algebra and geometry
- Use statistics and probability to examine data and model real world scenarios
Course Overview
Term 1
Complete AS 1.1 (Explore data using a statistical enquiry process - internal)
Begin AS 1.2 (Use mathematical methods to explore problems that relate to life in Aotearoa New Zealand or the Pacific - internal)
Term 2
Continue AS 1.2 (Use mathematical methods to explore problems that relate to life in Aotearoa New Zealand or the Pacific - internal)
Begin material for AS 1.3 (Interpret and apply mathematical and statistical information in context - external)
Term 3
Complete AS 1.2 (Use mathematical methods to explore problems that relate to life in Aotearoa New Zealand or the Pacific - internal)
Complete AS 1.3 (Interpret and apply mathematical and statistical information in context - external) during the school Mock Exam week.
Term 4
Complete any missed internal assessments.
Begin material for Level 2 mathematics.
