Connected Curriculum with Art and English

Where Art and English meet is a course designed for students who want to gain some English skills (and credits) in an Art context. Students will learn about the “Art World” and gain important skills in understanding art in context as well as being able to talk about art in a professional way.

SEMESTER ONE COURSE “The Art World”

Course Components

• Researching an art movement, including artists and artworks within the movement
• Show understanding of an art movement through writing, speaking and visual display
